been hunting a Z for a bit now....nothing really has caught my eye but stumbled across a local car today, wanted opinons if it seems like a good buy. Its a 1995 black on black vert with 103k miles, auto, completely stock, was owned by a older man that just drove it on weekends, he had the same mechanic do work on all his vehicles, did timing belt at 90k, runs great, very clean engine, good a/c, good interior. The exterior has a handfull of door dings, nothing major and shows no signs of paint or body work, very straight. typical peeling of the paint on the front spoiler down low but look pretty good from about 5 feet. top is original but car was always stored in a garage so it looks great, plastic windows still real clear, seals looked good. guy had it listed in the local paper ad for $6900.....he immediately said he'd take $6k when i was looking at it. I really wanted another tt..and was ready to spend 10k or so, but pick up the vert for 5k or so and convert it. to the people who have done the swap estimate what you spent.. i would also convert it to a 5speed at the same time. Its a pretty nice car just wanted a tt and not sure im up for all the work involved to turbo it, ant ideas or opinions would be great
